Christmas isn’t just a nice story about a baby and some cute animals that came to see him. It is the announcement that God is Here. That little baby grew up and throughout the life and ministry of Jesus he manifested the presence of God. During the season of Epiphany (which means “divine manifestation”) which falls on the heels of Christmas, we are encouraged to reflect on the incredible reality that the God who made and sustains the entire universe has made himself personally available to be known and experienced.
